Sunny Days.

The sun is out! And change is afoot... After 3 1/2 years at the RWA sadly I will be leaving in two weeks time. This is full of mixed feelings for me as I will miss everyone I work wth a lot, but it must be onwards and upwards, as I have been offered a position at Spike Island as their Volunteers Coordinator. For me this will mean less hours, a desk of my own and working for a fantastic organisation with lots going on, so I am really excited to have been given the opportunity.

I'm happy to be able to work in such a vibrant place that has artists studios, print studios, exhibitions and a large programme of events. I think it will be a great environment to work in and place to be invoved with in general as an artist! There are also many links with UWE, Arnolfini and they are a part of the Tate Plus scheme, so the networks are huge.

Along with this new move I am in the baby, baby steps of beginning to set up a side business selling my creations and have mounted and packaged my first set of prints to be sold in the shop at the RWA - I am hopeful there might be just one person out there who would like one! We will see!
